Is there a Cephalon fragment in every mission? ›

Cephalon Fragments may be found up to once per mission and will spawn in a random place of the map on most missions, with the exception of Defense, Interception, and Archwing missions which will never contain a fragment.

In game terms, each Cephalon Fragment contains a piece of a larger picture. Depending on the specific planet you are on in the solar system, you might need 3, 5, or even 7 fragments to unlock a piece of hidden lore.

Thief's Wit (and similar mods) will mark Cephalon Fragments in range on the map with a unique blue diamond icon. Somachord and Frame Fighter fragments are likewise marked with their own icons.

The blueprint to build the "Railjack Cephalon" is given upon starting the Rising Tide quest.

cephalon fragments can spawn on exterminate/survival/capture/sabotage and mobile defense missions. On each of those missions, one cephalon fragment or one somachord fragment will appear somewhere on the map.

Minimap can be found in the top-left corner of the screen. The minimap will help you navigate the level by marking Objectives and Targets. Enemies are displayed as red triangles, Allies are displayed as blue dots, and other Tenno will be displayed as the Warframe they are using.

To fight The Fragmented, the entire squad must locate a marked Murmur Eye shrine and interact with it to begin the encounter. After interacting with the shrine, the Tenno must then fight off an encroaching swarm of Murmur Fragments in the form of The Fragmented Tide.

Ordis is a Cephalon of Orokin origin who serves aboard the Orbiter. His visual form is that of a cracked hexahedron which emits radio wave-like ripples as he speaks. Ordis assists the Tenno, whom he refers to as "Operator".

Standing Gain

There are two types of tasks: Personal Target Task for recovering Research Imprints, which involves scanning for an individual target up to 10 times. These tasks can only be completed once per target. Daily Synthesis Task, which involves scanning a random individual target 2-4 times daily.

Where is Cephalon on Mars? ›

Cephalon Melica is seen during the New War quest, and later can be encountered on the Zariman after the Angels of the Zariman quest. She is mentioned by Acrithis and in the Chrysalith bounty "Boost Melica's Morale".

Cephalon Simaris (or referred to as Irmis by Cephalon Suda) is a Cephalon construct that resides within the Sanctuary Enclave, a room found in all Tenno Relays, which is accessible by visiting any Relay and then using Fast Travel from the Main Menu: default Esc → FAST TRAVEL → CEPHALON SIMARIS.
